UNITED STRENGTHS
Since its creation in 2008, Couleurs d'Aquitaine has become one of the largest trading companies in the South West and the leading trading company in Bergeracois.
Under this name, a union is revealed formed around 3 historic cooperative cellars in the Dordogne whose key objective is to develop Bergeracois wines in a valued and sustainable way in France and for export.
Original and unique approach because the cooperative cellars of Sigoulès, Monbazillac and Alliance Aquitaine, united under the same banner "Vignerons Coopérateurs du Périgord", are the main shareholders but also the preferred suppliers. Behind Couleurs d'Aquitaine, we find 300 families of cooperative winegrowers, UNIDOR a unique and efficient bottling center, nearly 4,000 hectares of vineyard, and a major territory: Périgord.
Couleurs d'Aquitaine offers a complete range of AOP Bergeracoises and Bordelaises, Signatures Brands and Estate Wines resulting from the work of artisan winegrowers of our cooperators, as well as rigorously selected partner wines.
United to preserve our terroirs!
Our terroir is Périgord in all its splendor and all its colors If Périgord is recognized worldwide for its gastronomy, in purple Périgord we cultivate wines with passion and patience which have conquered the palate of the French. Bergerac Rouge is thus the 6th best-selling red AOP, the 4th most in demand in France and the 1st in the South West. Monbazillac is the largest sweet AOP in the world. Périgord is also a whole philosophy of life, the Périgord attitude. We cultivate the art of good living, gastronomy and conviviality.
From Bergerac to the gates of Gironde, our vineyard is a mosaic of landscapes and terroirs. A territory that makes you dream! Périgord offers a geographical continuity of landscapes, an exceptional historical heritage where castles, charterhouses, manors, bastides, abbeys rub shoulders in the middle of nature which expresses itself with panache.
It is to preserve this idyllic setting that the "Vignerons Coopérateurs du Périgord", are committed to a sustainable approach. We are one of the major economic players in the region and we are working to protect its heritage by preserving jewels such as Château Monbazillac or Château Renaudie. Today, we are going further by implementing a sustainable cultivation method and management method within the vineyard and our bottling center. We therefore aim to have 80% of our vineyard HVE certified and multiply our organic cultivated areas by 2.5 by 2021.
